Where the numbers come from
This is a model, not our real cats (those are on the Live Map). Every rate is taken from studies of real street cats, mice and birds. Where no study gives a number, we made a careful estimate and say so. It’s a model, so real neighbourhoods will differ, but the shape of what happens is the same.
